Cinnamon cap

The mucous matter present on cinnamon cap fruiting bodies contain a polysaccharide that inhibits certain cancer cell growth in mice as high as 80–90%. Polysaccharide-A has also demonstrated promise to prevent infection of E. coli and tuberculosis.
